Discovery 4 (LR4) “Key box” bracket
52 $ (exc. Vat)
The “key box” next to the gear shift knob is an excellent spot for the Xlifter controller — and this bracket makes it look like it was always meant to be there. It fills the entire space cleanly, prevents small items from slipping underneath, and even includes a slot for two coins. 😉
The bracket is available in left- and right-hand versions. Its “foot” sits about 2 cm deep, aligning the controller’s top surface perfectly with the console for a clean, flush look.
You can choose between two installation styles:
Base only: Replace just the back half of the controller housing.
Full enclosure: Use both base and cover to fully replace the controller case.
Both versions align the controller neatly with the dashboard. The choice comes down to personal preference — both look great.
🛠️ Installation: This is a full replacement bracket. Unscrew the original controller (4 screws), pass the power cable through the bracket, and reassemble. For the cleanest result, we recommend hard-wiring the 12V cable under the console — just like in the oval bracket install video by Mark Wallas.
We know the price may seem high for a piece of plastic — and we get it. That’s why the full 3D models are available for free on the Xlifter Accessories page. If you’re into DIY, go for it.
But if you’d prefer a ready-to-use, professionally printed and hand-finished version — here it is.
