Discovery 5 L462 – Cigarette Lighter Socket Plug Bracket

This bracket replaces the back half of the Xlifter controller and integrates directly into the 12V socket in your Discovery 5 — located just beneath the center stack with climate controls. It’s a tidy, practical spot, and this design makes it even cleaner.

The angle and placement of this bracket were carefully tuned to ensure the upper center panel can still fully open — including access to the small storage box behind it. The controller remains readable, accessible, and doesn’t block any function of the dash.

Functionally, it solves three problems at once:
✅ Holds the controller securely
✅ Provides power directly through the socket
✅ Hides the wiring completely

🛠️ Installation:
This is a full backside replacement with integrated power. You’ll need to:

1. Remove the original backplate (4 screws).
2. Disconnect the power cable (see detailed guide on the Accessories page).
3. Route the cable through the printed plug and reassemble the connector.
